Going for walks with newborn baby?
Posted by · 5 Comments
I will be having my first baby this coming May! I am really scared of gaining weight on top of the baby weight as I am already overweight, so I plan on walking with my baby in the mornings and evenings with my fiancee & the baby. How long should I walk for, and should it be a faster pace? I was thinking an hour in the morning at a faster pace and an hour in the evening. Maybe more relaxed in the evening since my fiancee will be with us. Will this help in weight loss? I know breast feeding helps as well. Also does the baby cry alot when you take it out for a walk, or does it pretty much sleep the whole time? What are your experiences? I’m so inexperienced so any help and advice will be great!!
I know I will gain “baby weight” and that is perfectly fine but I’m talking additional weight on top of my baby weight that I want to lose!
