baby crying

For the past couple days my 7 mon. old has been crying a lot. Nothing satisfies him.
I carried him to the doc today and there wasn’t anything wrong with him.

    when is he crying?
try lactose free formula if crying after he eats, or throwing up. Maybe gas feel his belly, does it feel bloated? give gripe water or lay on belly he’ll let it out.

I wish I knew! I have 8 month old twins that are up all night and have some very bad days. It’s frustrating, I know. I just take it a day at a time.
Did this just start? An earache maybe, teething. If you find the miracle for getting a baby content you let me know. And good luck to you.

You’re probably not paying enough attention to him.

It is too late for colic.

    Take temperature
    change diaper
    put orajel on the gums

If that doesn’t work, then a warm bath, massage

Finally, if none of that works, consider the following: has the baby gained weight and grew according to the charts? If not, maybe the milk is not enough. Consider some baby food or cereal. Speak to the pediatrician first.

some more details would have been nice… is she getting teeth, having a growth spurt, is she sick… it could be any number of things!

    Is this your 1st child?

i have 4 kids. sometimes babies will have a rough day or even a rough few weeks. it could be teething, growing pains (leg cramps and so forth) or just trying to adjust to a small change that you wouldn’t think of like getting a little less sleep. it’s hard for babies- if they get a charlie horse or a head ache- or even if they just feel grumpy- they can’t tell us and they don’t understand why or how they feel different- this can be scary for them. it should pass, though. if it gets worse instead of better over the next couple weeks, i’d take him to the doctor again

try this site you can get some good info.
this could be anything from teething to colic to growing pains.
have you changed formula or from breast to bottle?
have you increased the amount of milk? he/she could be ready for more at a feeding.
even if you are stressed due to the holiday hustle and have changed your routine with him/her this can make a baby . moody
if you feel your DR. is reliable go with what he says and if you have older family members that you can talk to ask them.
    good luck

teething, colic or just a growth spurt. Raising my son during difficult times like that I reminded myself. This too shall pass…and it will. I had my share of crying jags that seemed neverending…but they did. Hang in there. It will pass.

Oh, its so hard to listen to constant crying. If this has been going on for 7 months, chances are this is what your baby does. If this is new, I’d have the little one checked out by a doctor or nurse – it could be ear infection, teeth, or even a UTI.

  14. Kgarza says:

Maybe he is teething or just colicy…you should try Reflexology…a session with a qualified reflexologist can help relax your baby and also help with his ailments.
