I know that baby monitor isn’t just for monitoring cries, but also their well-being, especially the ones with cameras. But I’m sure that people whose babies have health problem to be monitored, wouldn’t practice controlled crying/cio.

What I’m wondering is, why would people (with normal healthy babies) who firmly believe in CC/cio bother to put up a baby monitor anyway? It’s not like they’re going to do anything about their babies’ cry.
