Shall i use the Ferber method for my 4 months baby?

My baby is a REALLY fussy baby… she cries when she is hungry, has gas, wants to sleep, bored, with a person she doesnt know, etc…

I wanted her to be a calm baby who doesnt mind being with other people other than me or her father…

Shall i use the Ferber method which is leaving the baby cry when you feel that she doesnt need anything? (i am just too scared that she might be needing something and i am depriving it from her)

What are your thoughts?
