I think it also helps to develop a strong bond with their mother, so they can feel safe in their little life. Obviously, all children are different though, but remember they ARE crying for a reason, not to just annoy you. They are expressing that they want held, fed, changed, burped, and some attention. They may have an upset stomach (gassy). If you think there is a problem behind all the fuss consult your pediatrician. They may have an illness or may need formula changed. Always consult pediatrician first. If the stress from all the fuss is to much give yourself a break. Leave the baby in a safe place near you that you can monitor and watch some t.v. or call a friend/ family. Hello,

My 3 kids were all different as babies. My son never cried, even when in pain. My youngest daughter had a set of lungs though! She let everyone know when she didn't like something!
